Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing, but she started intensive vocal training through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. When she moved from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She is involved with many local organizations in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity to share with others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations continue the tradition.
